INNOVEX Environmental Management, Inc. (INNOVEX) is an environmental engineering and consulting firm that specializes in Site Assessment and Remediation of contaminated lands, and the management of hazardous wastes and hazardous materials.  INNOVEX is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, and maintains offices in Concord and Sacramento, California, and Redmond, Washington. 

INNOVEX is focused on providing reliable, high quality consulting services, and maintains a strong commitment to effective communication in order to ensure that client objectives are consistently met.  Our staff of professionals include Professional Engineers (PE), Professional Geologists (PG), Licensed Hydrogeologists (LHG), Certified Engineering Geologists (CEG), Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (CHMM), and Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) throughout California and Washington State.

INNOVEX has substantial experience in the energy sector and has attracted clients including BP/ARCO, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), and several regional oil companies.  Other private sector clients include Skanska USA and Chevrolet.  Federal clients include the National Park Service, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, and the Department of Energy.  State government clients include California Department of Transportation and the University of Washington.

INNOVEX offers full service capabilities with respect to environmental case management and contaminated lands, and have managed literally hundreds of cases throughout the western United States. Our staff have extensive experience with Petroleum, Oil & Lubricants (POL), Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs), chlorinated solvents, metals and other chemical contaminants, and are well versed in bringing an environmental case from initial discovery through remediation and closure.  INNOVEX core services include:

In addition to INNOVEX’s technical capabilities, INNOVEX President Ronald Chinn is currently a Commissioner on the Contra Costa Hazardous Materials Commission and has served on several California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Task Forces regarding the State’s UST program.  Mr. Chinn assisted with the formation of Threat-Based closure policy in 2010, and drafted portions of the 2012 UST Low Threat Closure Policy.  Mr. Chinn was also a contributor to the 2012 Leaking Underground Fuel Tank (LUFT) Manual and has been asked to provide expertise to Regional Water Quality Control Boards and Local Oversight Agencies.
